:: What Parents at PPAC are saying... ::
“Our daughter has been with Pulse since the day it opened in Fall of 2004. In search of a dance studio that would challenge our daughters performing skills, we discovered a comprehensive performing arts studio where she has been able to improve her dance skills along with discovering her voice, music, and acting abilities. She has been able to pursue her love of triple-threat performing through the skills of professional instructors in the areas of music, dance, and acting. With the guidance and teaching of KC and Erik Bennett, our daughter has had the opportunity to discover and experience the joy of performing with an award-winning studio!”

“My daughter Alexyss joined Pulse Performing Arts approximately 4 years ago. She is now a member of The Pulse Performing Team. When looking for a place for our daughter to learn about the performing arts, we wanted a nurturing and fun learning environment for our daughter. Alexyss has received so much more. Her love for music and dance has grown so rapidly. She demonstrates this positively through her dedication, self-confidence, and enhanced appreciation of teamwork. Erik and KC have created this environment at Pulse. They are incredibly talented, committed, and passionate professionals who have taken the time to build positive trusting relationships with the students, which enables them to communicate and teach the arts. Pulse not only teaches the children about dance, music, and acting - it teaches them about family and friends. The children learn about respect and self-esteem while being encouraged and challenged to be the best that they can be. The children thrive at Pulse! On behalf of my family, I want to thank Erik and KC for their dedication to the children and for making my daughters experience such a positive one. We look forward to many more years with Pulse Performing Arts.”

“It has been 4 years since we first brought our then 6-year old daughter to a Pulse summer camp. We had always felt that Arabella had natural talent, but hesitated for several reasons, one being my understanding of the performing arts industry. Having worked very hard in New York City for many years with actors, celebrities, and dancers, it was important to find a Performing Arts studio that had worked and understood the struggles of the industry at a professional level. The “knowledge equity” and experience we felt was critical to see and then develop any child’s “natural talents”. Our hopes and dreams for Arabella to be all she could rested on a solid foundation! Erik and KC have that expertise as working professionals we were looking for. But they also have the very unique and special talents to teach, coach and communicate that expertise to young people! Arabella may go on to live her dream to be an actor or dancer at a professional level. Or she may go on to follow another career path. Either way the “authentic and genuine” environment created at PULSE will stay with her and benefit her throughout her life.”

“At Pulse you will find the most positive, upbeat, motivated, and talented group of young performers being led by the best of the best, KC and Erik Grant Bennett. KC and Erik are the "real deal" and their hearts are truly in it. It is so obvious when you see them with their students or when you watch a Pulse performance - this is what they "do" and the positive energy is contagious. From the state of the art loft-like facility to the top-notch level of instruction in dance, music, and drama to the family atmosphere, it is everything you could want for your child. Even with their impressive resumes and backgrounds in their respective fields, these people are humble and there is no pretense or ego - it is all about the kids and their love of the arts. Thank You Pulse for bringing Broadway to Suwanee everyday!”

“Almost two years ago we came to Pulse looking for that "something more" that had been missing from my daughter's musical experience. She had felt stuck and we both knew immediately that we had found that "right fit" as we began to get to know Erik Grant Bennett, Pulse Music Director. Vanessa had been singing for as long as we could remember, but was ready to take her skills to a more professional level. She had taken voice and piano but we wanted more than lessons and classroom . . .we were looking for someone to really draw out her potential and challenge her in ways that may not always be easy. Erik has helped her to not only expand her vocal range and quality of sound, but also to understand the real 'nuts and bolts' behind the music…she even enjoys playing piano now. With wit and wisdom Erik is a no-nonsense, no-excuses educator who inspires in such a way that the really hard work, training, and grit of learning is fun! Erik is a great songwriter and storyteller who is an accomplished working musician as well. Erik and KC set incredible vision in an inspiring atmosphere with a perfect blend of encouragement and professionalism. With Erik and KC's encouragement, my daughter has also thrived in Triple-Threat. Just the right amount of "push" has challenged her to grow beyond all expectations. Her journey has really just begun and we are thankful to Pulse Performing Arts Center for providing the tapestry of which her life will be artistically woven.”
