2010-2011 Company Audition Information!

2010 - 2011      AUDITION INFORMATION

Saturday, June 12 @ Pulse Performing Arts Center - 425 Buford Hwy., Suite 205, Suwanee, GA  30024

COST:        $20 per person

TIMES:        Ages  5 - 7  and  8 - 11 (Elementary School Age)
                  10:30 - 12:00

                  Ages 11 - 15 (Middle School Age)
                  12:00 - 1:30

                  Ages 15 & up (High School Age)
                  1:30 - 3:00

WHAT TO WEAR:    Leotard and black dance shorts with foot undies or jazz shoes.
                            Hair up, securely out of face.
                            No jewelry
                            No street clothes

 WHAT IS REQUIRED:        Will do a short warm up as a group.
                                       Will do a short ballet barre session.
                                       Will do leaps, turns and progressions across the floor.
                                       Will learn 1 or 2 short combos in jazz, lyrical or contemporary

*    All dancers will need to fill out paperwork prior to the start of their scheduled audition time, so please arrive early enough to do that.  
*    Please bring your payment for auditions in cash.  We cannot accept checks for this and we won’t be able to run credit cards that day.
*    Some dancers may be asked to do their own age groups’ audition and stay for the age group above them.  Please be prepared to stay.  
*    No parents are allowed into auditions.
*    All dancers who audition will receive information in the mail about acceptance or not into the Company and in which age group.   This age group placement helps us plan out classes by placing dancers in class levels where they can best learn.    It has nothing to do with selection for Competition dances for next season.  Those will also be done by audition, but later in the Fall.
